Family love is the bond characterized by affection, respect, loyalty, and healthy attachment.

The Bible teaches about love and relationships between wife, husband, and children in several passages. Here are a few key teachings:

Husband and Wife Love: The Bible describes the love between husband and wife as a sacrificial and selfless love.

Ephesians 5:25 says, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."

Colossians 3:19 encourages husbands to love their wives and not be harsh with them. This love should be based on mutual respect, support, and a willingness to sacrifice for one another.

Wife and Husband's Submission: The Bible also teaches about the concept of submission in marriage.

Ephesians 5:22-24 says, "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior."

Wives, you ought to love your husbands first for it is the right order before God. Stop saying that "if it wasn't for the children,  I would have left my marriage". You met your husband first. Children were the fruits of that good thing God begun in two of you. You are frustrating your own marriage due to lack of Godly wisdom.

This submission does not imply inferiority but rather a mutual respect and cooperation between spouses.

Parental Love: The Bible emphasizes the role of parents in nurturing and loving their children.

Ephesians 6:4 instructs fathers to not provoke their children to anger but to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:6 encourages parents to train up their children in the way they should go, so that they will not depart from it. The Bible also teaches about discipline and guidance as expressions of love, aiming to shape children into responsible and godly individuals.

Generally, the Bible teaches that love within the family should be characterized by sacrificial love, mutual respect, submission, nurturing, and discipline.
